Secret Power

In a small office cabin, on the edge of my table, I was wondering what could be the secret power we all human posses in general and I in particular.

Resting my back on high end chair and stretching my legs under the table and holding my hands together I went into deep thoughts and suddenly I realised a Voice around me and asking me "Why this grim look?"

When silence embraced me further... I closed my eyes and went in semi unconscious state!

Voice whispered...............................

"Come over here and look at this world around you, people around you and Gods' creation around you, See this world around for millions of years and never has it been sad for one moment. Why are you worried don't you like to learn this secret, don't you want to know the greatest gift any human can possess, In order for you to know this you must first complete a mission which I will present to you.... I know today is your birthday... Well you must keep this smile on your face for one year without moan or groan. You shall find me around in my invisible form. Whenever you feel the aroma of a breeze on your face, you will sense my presence. Remember, if you stop smiling and start moan or groan I will disappear forever and you will never know my secret power that will pass over to you next year. You will lose the greatest gift on earth and will be just like all the other mortals that live a wretched unhappy life.”

I felt tears rolling down on my cheek like a waterfall cascading down a mountainside.  "Voice whispered:

"Get rid of all your tension and unhappiness. Remember you have but one life on earth and you cannot afford to spend one moment of it in misery, sorrow and self destruction. From this moment on you will be conscious of the smile on your face and you will understand that if the smile fades for just one moment, you will lose contact with me and the secret power that I will bestow on you in a years’ time, will be lost, like a snowflake in a fire."

And suddenly I realised a radiant smile beaming brighter on my face. Suddenly a strong wind blew me up. When the wind subsided, the Voice was gone.
I felt rejuvenated and although all the worries and problems still existed, but I started looking at them quite differently.

Every morning, upon awakening, I would go over to the mirror and make sure I do have a smiling face and slowly and gradually I realised it started to get bigger and brighter every day... As the smile grew brighter, my demeanor, conduct and manner improved. Everyone remarked how different I am looking and behaving. Some mean spirited people tried to change my smile into a frown, but none could. By now it was engraved on my face like an exquisite incandescent photo.

At the end of the year, the Voice suddenly appeared from out of the blue and declared...

Your disposition and nature has been extraordinarily noticeable.

Your luminous smile lit all lamps in the heart of all those whom you met.
 
I will now share with you the greatest secret power in the world that you and all other humans possess.
 
In excitement I held my breath to listen, like a lamp post.

The truth of the matter is... there is no secret powers more potent than the one you possess now A SMILE.

The smile you have on your face right now is the greatest power in the world.

Once your face radiates with joy, you are empowered with the greatest gift any human can possess whilst they live on earth.

Now that you have experienced that power, I know there will be no going back to your old worried frown."
